Job Description

The Tarian Group is seeking an experienced Healthcare Sales professional to join our team. The Vice President Healthcare Sales works to support and execute the strategic sales goals of the company, reporting directly to Tarian’s Chief Revenue Officer.The candidate will be expected to successfully engage with purchasers of healthcare security and other related services for hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare related enterprises. Using proven best practices and experience, the Vice President Healthcare Sales will work with the internal sales team and develop home grown prospects to close new opportunities and maximize revenue and margin. The role is remote but involves travel (~50% - 70%) within the U.S to meet with prospects and clients. The right candidate will live near a major airport. Tarian is a leading provider of security services to a wide range of marquee clients in the U.S., including many of the top hospitals, healthcare facilities, commercial businesses, and airports in the country.


The Ideal Candidate:


  • Minimum 5+ years' demonstrated Healthcare sales experience with a focus on labor solutions
  • Expert knowledge of the sales process and customer relationship/rapport management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
  • SalesForce CRM experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of pricing development experience.
  • Highly organized individual capable of completing tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in presenting.
  • Driven attitude to achieve results.
  • Fluent in MS Office Suite, familiarity with Adobe Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of safety, security and clinical operations strongly preferred
  • Ability to identify prospects, generate leads, and close deals.


Essential Functions:


  • Participate in the development of proposals and presentations to new business opportunities.
  • Attend and participate in National and Regional Tradeshows, Trade organizations, and client/new client events to promote the Tarian Group brand.
  • Assist in development of pricing for new business opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with the Chief Revenue Officer, Vice Presidents, and The Tarian Group Senior Management as well as appropriate support resources, to deliver sales objectives and exceed new client expectations.
  • Source and respond to Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Quote (RFQ).
  • Proactively source sales leads and opportunities to ensure revenue opportunities are maximized. Direct responsibility for growth with regard to new clients.

Physical requirements: Work related travel.

The compensation for the position is commensurate with the importance nature of this role, and includes a base salary $120K, a commission structure based on the successful closing, onboarding and retention of new customers, and standard professional benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance subsidies.
