Job Description
ReSource Pro is looking for a Vice President, Digital Product with an insurance and technology background who will define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for ReSource Pro’s portfolio of products that enable the company to innovate, differentiate itself from its competitors, infuse technology into its offerings, work smarter, make better decisions, and enhance profitability. The VP of Digital Product is responsible for ensuring that the portfolio of new and existing products maximizes business potential. The VP of Digital Product manages, leads, and mentors a growing team of product managers and is accountable for high-quality execution and development of the product portfolio.
Responsibilities
  • Foster a collaborative team environment with a high sense of trust that promotes effective communication and alignment of performance to ReSource Pro’s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Lead the creation and development of the vision, strategy, and portfolio roadmap for digital product offerings, including applicable ROI and value realization models.
  • Define Product Management processes, use of tools, and mode of stakeholder engagement to
  • Set/manage the product governance process, facilitate regularly scheduled governance committee meetings
  • Drive accountability for value recognition and business results. Provide coaching on product development processes and practices to everyone within the organization involved in product, both within the Product function, as well as other business units and Centers of Excellence (COE)
  • Facilitate overall team success and quality and high-velocity product evolution.
  • Develop processes needed to run product development efficiently, prioritize product decisions, and launch products. Promote awareness and adoption of these processes across the company.
  • Measure effectiveness of the Product PMO to promote continuous improvement. Maintain relevant metrics to track product performance and value realized for the business
  • Provide executive oversight on product development to ensure overall strategy and roadmap is executed on, collaborating with teams across the organization to ensure products are well designed from concept through launch and the ongoing development lifecycle.
Qualifications

  • Proven leadership and management ability and evidence of positively influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of market research or analytics
  • 5+ years’ experience leading and developing a senior product development team
  • Ability to work with diverse teams (Sales, Engineers, Marketing, Operations) to convert product ideas into requirements
  • Experience in the insurance industry working in digital product development required.
  • Strong business acumen
  • 15+ years of experience with product visioning, development, and project management
  • Strong analytical and data fluency skills
  • Experience working with board and C-Suite
  • Strong product management & strategic analysis skills with a demonstrated ability to map an understanding of business drivers to prioritized requirements
