Job Description

Primarily a New Business Development (NBD) role reporting into the Managing Director/Partner of our US/UK Business Unit. Responsible for lead-generation from existing or historical clients and from senior Procure4 management networks, including their own. Managing local marketing teams to drive brand awareness and taking businesses on a journey from initial introductory meeting through to contracted and fully mobilized client.


Responsibilities

  • Provide broader leadership, energy and motivation to members of the local business unit, mentoring and supporting individuals as required.
  • Work with Procure4 Finance to develop a robust Business Case for potential clients that meets financial targets set out in the annual Financial Plan.
  • With legal support from the Company Secretary, negotiate contractual points with clients during transition from sell-in to scoping phase.
  • Identify and assess potential client opportunities against Procure4 criteria and tailor Procure4’s suite of engaging collateral through which the NBD process can be initiated.
  • Design and refine innovative solutions and proposals for prospective clients during the bid process in order to differentiate Procure4 from its competitors.
  • Provide a monthly update to the Procure4 Management Team on local business unit NBD performance and lead-generation pipeline status versus the annual plan.
  • Support the Client Director and/or Project Leader with the creation of category approach strategies and wider project plans that align with client’s needs agreed during sell-in.
  • Support the CEO and Managing Director in the creation and delivery of the business unit’s annual NBD plan, taking ownership of particular market sectors with clear personal targets for client revenue generation.
  • Manage local Marketing resources to create and deliver an annual Brand Awareness and Lead Generation Plan, ensuring Procure4’s CRM platform and all collateral is maintained to leading edge and Procure4 Standards. (Website, social media, client case studies, thought leadership articles, etc.)
  • Work closely with the Operations Director on senior client stakeholder engagement to optimize ongoing client revenues through broader scope and additional service provision.
  • Actively promote Procure4 values and passionately convey our brand to potential clients via targeted formal and informal events and through personal network opportunities.


Qualifications

  • Show promise in the development of engaging and robust client proposals tailored to meet unique situational needs.
  • Demonstrate experience of developing and selling-in strategic change projects that enhance value through challenging traditional thinking and methodology.
  • Self-motivated but able to work strongly as part of a team.
  • Have a good understanding of procurement/ supply chain processes across a broad spectrum of sectors or operational environments.
  • Desire to understand and learn about the market and competitors' services.
  • Accomplished and confident presenter.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
