Job Description
Position Overview


Rulo’s mission is to improve data driven advertising across the open web through the use of responsibly sourced, high quality audience segments, without dependence on third party cookies. Leveraging the direct user engagement of the CivicScience consumer insights platform and fueled by a recent capital raise, we are rapidly expanding and seeking an accomplished, entrepreneurial VP, Ad Sales who is ready to lead our sales efforts with key client and agency partners. Reporting to the GM, She/He will be challenged to develop new account-based sales strategies that allow us to deliver cross channel display and CTV advertising campaigns from our existing market research brand relationships that create new business opportunities for our company.


Primary Responsibilities


  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to create and lead commercial account plans that will exceed our revenue goals for your territory.
  • Develop and manage territory forecasts that accurately project revenue throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • Work with the internal client activation team to manage ad campaigns to ensure we deliver on campaign goals and exceed client expectations.
  • Bring established relationships within your rolodex across investment and strategy teams with a strong understanding of business challenges and market dynamics.
  • Drive a positive customer experience and nurture relationships that create new and incremental upsell opportunities.
  • Provide management with client feedback and industry knowledge that enable us to invest in product development to meet the future needs of our clients.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience using CRM and prospecting tools such as Hubspot and Linkedin.
  • 15+ years experience with a proven track record of success selling to agencies and advertisers across multiple sectors.
  • Effective time-management skills.
  • Ad Tech experience in first and third-party audience targeting and technology, DSPs, online measurement and/or delivery and measurement platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple client/stakeholder deadlines simultaneously.
