Us Tax Reporting And Analysis Director

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The primary responsibility of the position will be U.S. income tax accounting (ASC 740) and tax return compliance as well as SAP implementation design validation and testing. Your main responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

• SAP design validation and user acceptance testing for the tax process stream
• Review of Federal forms 8858, 8865, 5471 and 1118
• Oversight of the quarterly tax planning process
• Oversight of the quarterly cash tax forecast
• Oversight of the monthly, quarterly, and annual state tax compliance process for Consolidated, Unitary and Stand-alone state income tax returns
• Oversight of the end-to-end Federal compliance process including Earnings and profits (E&P) calculations for all subsidiaries, international inclusions, and country by country reporting
• Year-end income tax provisions (ASC 740) for U.S. reporting entities
• Review of the U.S. consolidated 1120
• Consolidated year-end income tax provision workpapers, including financial statement footnote

Additional operational responsibilities would be to assist with various domestic and international tax projects on a recurring basis, which could include any of the following areas:

• Collaborate with others in Finance to ensure efficient data flow
• Provide support to model specific tax positions and outcomes
• Annual Total Tax Contribution for all legal entities

The individual will work closely with the other members of the tax reporting and analysis group, SAP project team, peers within Global Accounting and Control, regional finance and tax teams and external advisors. BCG operates a flexible organizational structure, such that different people depending upon a specific project or operational area will evaluate the individual.
Performing other duties as assigned or required.
This is a temporary benefit eligible position expected to last up to two years dependent on business needs. It is an opportunity to be exposed to leaders across Global Tax and Finance and grow your network at BCG. Following completion of the temporary position, the individual will have opportunity to explore available opportunities at BCG.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

We expect that the individual will be distinguished in a number of intangible and subtle ways. These include demonstrating an ability to identify issues, solve problems, and find ways to get things done better. The individual must be a team player and an effective contributor in a flexible, truly global environment.
That said there are certain basics that we are looking for. These include:

• Excellent computer skills with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP, Alteryx and Tableau is a plus.
• Expert in tax return preparation software, preferably CorpTax, tax research software (BNA), and HFM.
• CPA and/or MST a plus
• 10+ years of relevant tax compliance experience with increasing responsibilities
