Job Description

Neuronetics is committed to the ongoing training and development of our customers and sales team. To meet the growing needs of our educational programs Neuronetics is expanding and adding new members to the training team. We are seeking highly talented educators who will contribute to advance the development and success of our programs and strive to make the NeuroStar procedure a leader in neurobehavioral space. Our goal is to consistently provide our customers and sales force with innovation, education, exceptional service, and a commitment to excellence, all with a personal touch.


The Training Manager will support the development of Neuronetics training strategies, with main responsibilities of co-creating sales training and clinical content; messaging, training presentations and treatment protocols for customers attending NeuroStar University. In addition, will perform medical assessments, training, and provide support for all NeuroStar education training initiatives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Act on the strategy set forth by Customer Education leadership to enhance training activities and protocols for NeuroStar customers attending NeuroStar University.
  • Design, develop and deliver effective training programs that stay within budget and impact top line sales.
  • Collaborate with other departments including Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Research and Development to identify training opportunities and deficiencies. Actively research and identify ways to address these needs.
  • In collaboration with the Director of Sales Training, Sales Leadership, and Marketing Leadership, develops key training materials including but not limited to Training Presentations, Workshops, Learning Management System (LMS) Modules, Agendas and Knowledge checks.
  • Works with Sales Training, Sales Leadership, and Marketing partners to ensure training content is up to date and CN approved for training needs. Collaboratively works with all key stakeholders in the Medical/ Legal/Regulatory/Compliance process to ensure all relevant materials are approved.
  • Co-owner of New Hire Sales Training materials. Creates and develops content to be assigned upon hire, onboarding materials, and training materials slides/handouts/presentations/videos to be utilized in all courses within the Neuronetics Sales Training continuum.
  • Create customized training content as needed to meet the ongoing business need, including but not limited to PowerPoint presentations, and training manuals.
  • High degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver educational presentations to customers, peers, and prospects, with measurable results.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Develops relationships with field sales, Region Practice Managers, and Region Sales Directors to provide sales training and sales leadership with a clear understanding of training needs for the Neuronetics businesses.
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, planning and prioritizing abilities.
  • Classroom training experience on procedure training, consultation, business-to business (B2B) and selling skills are desired.
  • Deliver presentations and hands-on training during training programs as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: DESCRIBE SCOPE:

  • Continuously assesses training and development needs of the field force and coordinates training resources, personnel, and contract services to ensure the long-term development of the Neuronetics Sales Team
  • Develop, implement and continually refine new hire onboarding processes for Neuronetics, including updating training content, module creation, new hire playbook, new hire checklist, new hire training calendar and ensure the most up to date versions are available on the Portal and LMS system
  • Primary partner with Meetings and Coordination team on scheduling internal coordination meetings/calls in preparation of assigned courses. Works with sales training department, Meetings and Coordination team and Meeting planning to support, develop and execute training programs.
  • Assist Neuronetics Field Sales Training (FST) by managing key content and agendas.
  • Owns development of course communications including pre-course attendee and attendee manager calls, pre-course emails, post course survey and post course survey results.
  • Assist with FST development at annual FST training program and throughout the year when FSTs are supporting training courses.


Marketing Partnership And Sales Meetings

  • Primary interface with Meeting and Coordination team, Meeting Planning and Key Agencies involved on meeting workshop design and facilitation. Coordinates with team ensure partners understands workshop flow, objectives, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to coordinate on key training needs and assist marketing team with delivery of new rep-facing resources.
  • Attends assigned ad-boards throughout the year and provides feedback to brand teams as needed


Job Qualifications (minimum Requirements)

Education and Experience

  • 1-2 years of sales training experience preferred, not required.
  • 1-2 years project management experience, healthcare preferred, not required.
  • Minimum of 2 years field sales experience in the medical or device industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of health care and/or medical device industry

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 70%. Evenings, overnight, weekends, domestic is required.

Work Environment

Most work is performed in an office-like setting. The noise level in the environment is usually low to moderate.
