We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage our manufacturing operations in our Metals Division. The Production Manager will be responsible for coordinating production activities ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and manage the overall production process to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
Develop and implement production schedules, allocating resources effectively to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
Monitor production activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, specifications, and safety regulations. Identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks that may arise during production, making adjustments as necessary to optimize productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, design engineering, project managers, and Installation, to ensure seamless coordination and smooth project execution.
Conduct regular inspections to assess equipment functionality, identify maintenance needs, and coordinate repairs or replacements as required.
Manage and supervise production leads, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and job satisfaction.
Implement and improve manufacturing processes and procedures, striving for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure an adequate supply of materials and components for production.
Maintain accurate production records, including daily reports, production metrics, and inventory data.
Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in architectural millwork manufacturing.
REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Metals industry. A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing manager, or a related field is a plus.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve production processes.
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with great attention to detail.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
