We knew it! Join Maria Nila’s fast growing education team and be a part of a professional only, Swedish haircare brand. With over 10 new markets in less than a year, Maria Nila is one of the world’s fastest growing beauty brands.

We are looking to expand our education team with creative and friendly hairdressers to educate for our salons and industry professionals, focusing on brand and technical education classes for Maria Nila. Together with our North American education team, distributor partners, and field sales you will be responsible for providing education and supporting the field sales team to inspire other hairdressing professionals and increase the brand’s awareness in your community.

WITH US, THIS POSITION MEANS THAT

The role will provide a flexible, freelance schedule within your community with an opportunity to travel to other local markets and possibly to other states. Your responsibilities will be to provide fun, playful, and inspiring education to professional salons, but may also include a range from meeting presentations, events and creative happenings in the local markets to assist our team in building Maria Nila in your community. In summary, you’ll be key player for building Maria Nila in your community, providing both creative, and technical education with other industry professionals.

As a Maria Nila educator you will work with our North American Education team and provide fun, playful Maria Nila education in your community and support your local sales teams. You will inspire and help put Maria Nila on the map in your community.

Highly engaged, creative hair enthusiast! An excellent communicator.

• Great experience within the creative and world of hairdressing.
• Strong technical and communication skills and a structured way of working. Scheduling, responding, and planning realistically is key.
• Interest in beauty, environment and sustainability is icing on the cake!
• An inspiring and communicative mindset with an ease to connect with new people and work with team spirit. Great importance is attached to the personal qualities and vibes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience behind the chair
• A create mindset, with good vibes and an optimistic vision of the future!
• Strong communication skills in English and a second language a plus!
• Licensed Cosmetologist
• Willingness to travel in local area

THE POSITION

This is a part-time, freelance position, that will report to our Head of Education for the Americas. If accepted, you will be invited to our Train the Trainer program to learn the classes and curriculum that you will teach others. You will be scheduled based upon your availability and the education needs in your area. You will be a part of the North American Freelance Education team and there may be possibilities to travel to various destinations if interested.
