We are growing! We are currently looking to hire aCountry Manager for the Americas to be based in New York.

What you will be doing:
You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and will assume responsibility for the overall success of the Americas Business Unit, by controlling and overseeing all aspects of the subsidiary (Operational / Commercial / People), ensuring profitability and business growth are in line with the Group’s targets.
You will develop the Group’s client portfolio, through the existing clients and the conversion of prospects.
Your main scope will be as follows:
1. General Management:
- Ensure a positive and motivating work environment for your team
- Assess and ensure that HR resources are calibrated to meet business needs
- Be accountable for the Business Unit’s P&L
- Establish the yearly business plan
- Implement the local strategy in alignment with the Group’s long-term ambition
- Supervise general admin topics: payroll, accounts receivable…
- Ensure cost-effective operations and market development activities
- Be in charge of the overall management of the Business Unit
- Monitor the Business Unit’s performance and provide a clear reporting to the management and the Executive Committee
2. Customers Relations:
- Develop and nurture our brand awareness on the local market through networking events and white papers
- Ensure that your teams create value for the clients we partner with
- Drive our business development focus
- Advise our clients on their Customer Experience and Client Feedback Strategy
3. Operations:
- Oversee the qualitative growth and engagement of our evaluator database
- Ensure Operations Department delivers on time, in full and in quality the requested CX Data
What you will bring along:
To succeed in this role, you must have a strategic mindset and be an excellent leader. Excellent abilities in financial, operations planning as well as Key Account Management are also essential for this role. You must also have the below:
- New York-based role, with possibility of occasionally working remotely
- Strong track record of recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing team
- Proven experience as Area Manager / Managing Director or similar role with experience in team management
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Positive and outgoing personality
- Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities. Consulting approach.
- Master in Luxury Management / Business Administration / Business School or similar relevant fields
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills (Polished, persuasive, diplomatic communication skills with experience in presentations and proposal writing)
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in retail, consulting, marketing or sales within the luxury industry
- Negotiation skills
- Thorough knowledge of the premium and luxury market changes and forces that influence the company
