Position Summary:

The Technical Program Manager is responsible and accountable for the overall planning, execution and management of technical and strategic programs for Stova’s Technology Team. This is a dynamic, cross-functional role which will require handling multiple initiatives concurrently while working closely with internal stakeholders to meet company and client objectives. The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience managing technological, multifaceted, strategic initiatives in a SaaS environment
  • Be able to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization, both internally and externally.
  • Have a proven track record of managing stakeholder relationships to optimize project outcomes
  • Be able to skillfully manage complex, cross-functional and technical initiatives
  • Have extensive experience managing a cross-functional project team within a multi-faceted project plan


Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Up to 10% travel per year
  • Utilize process engineering, consultation and relationship building skills to identify and present process improvement and product enhancements to drive client success
  • Conduct post implementation lessons learned reviews with internal teams and work with Stova leadership team to implement identified improvement areas
  • Provide leadership for technical and strategic programs, serving as the program owner, and main point of contact, throughout all phases of the program
  • Clearly articulate stakeholder requirements to ensure team alignment to company goals
  • Drive the execution of projects and strategic initiatives within the Technology Team, managing all aspects of a project or program from inception to completion while ensuring alignment to company and client goals
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members and partner with stakeholders during the lifecycle of a program, fostering an environment of accountability
  • Develop and manage Stova’s project and launch plans for Stova’s strategic initiatives across multiple disciplines; work with appropriate stakeholders to create clear, attainable program objectives that align to company and client needs
  • Prepare and deliver clear and concise progress reports to the team, stakeholders and Stova leadership; clearly communicate and manage risks
  • Lead the requirements gathering process, assist in developing specification documents and oversee delivery to ensure alignment to overall company and client program objectives
  • Manage a cross functional delivery team throughout all phases of the program life cycle
  • Work closely with the project team and stakeholders to manage project scope
  • Review project deliverables prior to stakeholder review, assess and provide improvement recommendations where required; proactively manage stakeholder expectations


Education, Experience, & Skills Required:

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills, especially with Directors and C-Level Executives
  • Strong presentation and meeting management skills
  • Experience with requirements gathering initiatives and writing use cases
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and time management skills
  • 5+ years’ experience leading large, cross-functional teams within multifaceted deployment programs
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented and organized
  • 5+ years’ experience successfully leading technology programs and strategic initiatives in a SaaS environment
  • Experience with Project Management methodologies, strategic planning (phasing strategies, roadmaps, risk mitigation, etc.) and utilizing PM software tools (MS Project, Smartsheets)
  • Knowledge of API integrations and experience managing strategic initiatives involving API integrations
  • Ability to quickly build credibility and work collaboratively with stakeholders and the project team in a dynamic, client-centric environment
  • Ability to balance competing demands from multiple programs while remaining structured, organized, and accountable
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
