Purpose of the Role:

This is a remote opportunity with 10-15% regional travel required. Supports the assigned district and/or branches, in conjunction with the Talent Acquisition (TA)Team, generating interest in careers and opportunities with SavATree as the employer of choice and within the Green Industry in general. Build relationships that lead to pipelines and achieve the goal of being 110% staffed ensuring all territories have sales coverage, all production roles are filled, and there is a bench of talent in development. This position requires frequent contact with the public, employees at all levels of SAT and outside organizations.

Essential Functions of the Role:

  • Strengthen existing community and organizational relationships and seek out new ones where candidate pools may exist; educate groups on employment opportunities within the industry and SAT
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for requisitions, applicants, candidate workflow, reporting
  • Identify and document unique recruitment and staffing situation for assigned location(s) (i.e. what works, doesn’t work, and why)
  • Screen, interview, both in-person and via telephone or web, all candidates
  • Subject Matter Export for Office Manager’s in assigned territory for the electronic on-boarding of new hires
  • Infiltrate the community at all levels – finding and connecting to where potential employees gather and recreate, promote SAT and generate interest in joining the SAT Tribe
  • Document and report on recruitment Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) with the outcome of filling all positions within 50 days, being at 110% staffed and retention of 85%
  • With the support of TA, create unique and appealing help-wanted ads and recruitment materials
  • Attend and represent the organization at career fairs, community events, etc.
  • Execute regional Campus Recruiting & Intern Program
  • Post and/or hand-out flyers advertising career opportunities to the public
  • Present qualified leads/candidates to TA Team or designated Branch representative for interviews; and schedule interviews accordingly
  • Distribute giveaways appropriately to solidify brand
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management based on business needs
  • Coordinate offer, offer letter, and new hire orientation with TA/Branch Manager
  • Champion the employment brand by communicating opportunities with potential candidates, generate excitement and interest in careers, branch locations, and overall company
  • Be the SAT Brand Ambassador/TA Representative key point of contact for all strategic relationships – external and internal, in assigned area
  • Review all applications, resumes and job inquiries and prescreen candidates for minimum requirements
  • Perform all reference checks and background checks, as appropriate

Qualifications for this Role:

  • Must have own transportation to travel to outside locations
  • Outstanding communicator - both verbal and written, as well as in groups
  • Ability to connect with and build credibility with a broad spectrum of persons (labor, skilled labor, community/organization leaders, etc.)
  • Bi-lingual a plus
  • At least 2 years of recruiting or related HR experience required
  • “Green Industry” experience considered a plus.
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented role with varied responsibilities
  • Prefer Bachelor's degree or in-process degree in marketing, business, human resources, or related field
  • Influential personality, with natural ability to “sell the SavATree story”
  • Fearless, driven, proven ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Fluency in social media and internet

What is essential:

  • Must be authorized to lawfully work in the U.S.
  • Valid U.S Driver’s license
