Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

Pivot Energy is seeking a passionate Talent Acquisition Partner to lead all hiring activity for our expansive and dynamic team needs. Working in close collaboration with the VP, People and department leads, the Talent Acquisition Partner will manage the candidate experience from start to finish, while also leading and continuously improving internal systems, optimizing the hiring process, and actively engaging with future talent. The Talent Acquisition Partner will be closely involved in Pivot’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts, which includes sourcing diverse talent, observing and mitigating bias in the hiring process, and advocating for equitable selection practices.

To be successful in this role, they should possess curiosity about the solar industry, and demonstrate a technical understanding of the marketed roles and company vision. The industry is rapidly growing, so persistence in this highly competitive market is a must. They should also be highly autonomous, data-driven, and a natural coach as they guide new and experienced hiring managers in finding the best talent for their team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for the following items, among others, and will be provided the tools and resources to succeed and grow within the role:

  • Additional duties as required
  • Manage ongoing relationships with staffing firms, managing contractual terms and redlines with legal and ensure payments are made on time
  • Seek opportunities to continuously improve the process, software usage, automation, data and reporting
  • Align talent acquisition vision with department needs, seeking clarity as necessary
  • Represent Pivot Energy at external events, including but not limited to, career fairs, marketing and branding events, and other opportunities to connect and broaden talent networks
  • Consistently update hiring managers and company leadership on timelines, talent pools, and other talent acquisition-related information
  • Finalize job descriptions, manage third-party advertisements and job boards such as Linkedin, SEIA, and other DEI-focused sites
  • Own applicant data and manage pipeline in our Applicant Tracking System, ensuring adherence to hiring processes
  • Identify opportunities to strength employer branding, in collaboration with Marketing
  • Research internal and external benchmarks to inform job salary bands and structure compensation for final candidates and total reward packages in collaboration with fellow People team members
  • Manage all aspects of the candidate experience including, but not limited to, email introductions, introductory interviews, interview scheduling, and compensation negotiations


REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to deploy a measured approach to evaluating candidates’ alignment with needs of the role, the team, and the company’s position
  • Natural ability to build and maintain relationships
  • 4+ years of progressive, full cycle talent acquisition experience
  • Prior experience and success incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusion into recruitment practices
  • Proven competency in managing ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and using data to inform approaches
  • Embodiment of Pivot’s core values, functioning with the highest levels of integrity
  • Exceptional ability to manage concurrent timelines and priorities at once
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills


PREFERRED COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to travel on occasion
  • Prior experience in the solar, sustainability, or built environment industry a plus



COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 – 90,000 depending on relevant experience, along with eligibility for an uncapped commission plan and the company’s substantial bonus plan, with a target bonus of 50% of annual salary (prorated in first year based on start date). Total annual compensation potential, when including bonus, is $105,000-$135,000.
