The Oil, Gas, and Marine Division is currently looking for a Recruiter in the Fort Worth, Dallas or Houston areas of Texas. As a Recruiter, you are responsible for salaried and management staffing processes for the COGMD business unit. You’ll work with hiring manager(s) and HR Business Partners to understand staffing needs, review/create requisitions and discuss potential sourcing strategy.

The Opportunity

Within our Talent Acquisition organisation we provide a dynamic, collaborative environment which is focused on providing tailored end-to-end recruiting strategies for Caterpillar’s Energy and Transportation (E&T) segment and associated business units. This role will focus heavily on candidate sourcing. As a TA partner in our team you will also;

• Be the primary owner of the relationship with the hiring managers, acting as first point of contact, providing advice, reviewing applications, sourcing candidates, screening interviews and supporting with offer management.
• Influence talent acquisition strategy, build strong relationships with our internal customers & prospective candidates, and act as a recruiting subject matter expert for our HR partners.
• Challenges include meeting expectations in delivering results, learning to refine solutions to better fit complex situations, making timely decisions, and communicating effectively. Strong initiative and relationship-building skills are a must.
• Support company initiatives including but not limited to, Diversity and Inclusion activities, process improvements and project participation

Background/Experience Required

• Extensive talent acquisition experience gained ideally within both agency and in-house roles
• Strong background of recruiting for professional, salaried and management roles up to senior level
• Ability to engage with multiple levels of the organization to lead and coordinate efforts for recruiting team(s) assigned to support requisitions in the span of support without a solid line reporting relationship
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with ATS and CRM systems
• Excellent candidate sourcing skills, with experience of utilizing the most up to date sourcing methods This position requires experience-based knowledge of world-class recruitment methods, a commitment to continuous improvement, and demonstrated success in sourcing high-quality candidates
• Ability to understand business strategies and develop recruitment solutions to meet present and future needs. This position requires a high level of energy and flexibility and demands applicable knowledge to resolve human resources related questions and issues.

• Knowledge of Workday
• Ability to analyse and interpret data including recruiting metrics, recruitment channels etc. to measure team performance and success of recruiting initiatives
• Project management experience
