OVERVIEW
Maxor is currently seeking a highly accomplished SVP, Pharmacy Operations to join our team. As the SVP, you will be a key member of our Pharmacy Services business and a crucial part of our ongoing success. The ideal candidate for this position is a dynamic leader with executive-level experience and 15+ years of pharmacy experience. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the highest levels of service, operational excellence, and value for our patients and clients. As the SVP, you will work closely with the Business Unit President to develop and execute our strategic plan, with accountability for driving financial performance and the overall transformation of Maxor’s Pharmacy Management and 340B Operations.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Build and ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, and performance
- Coordinates with key stakeholders including, Sales, IT, Account Executives, Product leaders, and other business units to create a consistent client experience across relevant products.
- Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, local regulations, accreditation requirements, and takes necessary corrective action when necessary.
- Leads, mentors, and develops a team of business and clinical professionals, focused on operational excellence and efficiencies, growth drivers, supply chain management, and revenue cycle optimization consistent with Maxor Pharmacy Services mission, vision, and values.
- Responsible for Pharmacy Services overall operational performance, efficiency, quality, goal setting, benchmarking, and monitoring. Identifies and removes performance and quality barriers by developing innovative solutions to solve problems.
- Define and lead thought leadership, innovation insights, and optimization initiatives.
- Lives and instills in others the Maxor Pharmacy Services Values of Operational and Service Excellence, Delighting Customers, Clinical Quality, Integrity, Innovation, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement.
- Able to build standardization and optimized operating model customized by client, governance, return/value on investment, and financial management for the organization.
- Implements and fosters a culture grounded in Maxor’s values with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and “outside the box thinking” with the purpose of delivering exceptional service and value for patients and clients.
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE PROFILE
Education:
- Advanced Degree Required
Experience:
- 8 – 10 years of executive level leadership, and a minimum of 15 years of pharmacy experience or a combination of pharmacy and healthcare experience
Knowledge, and Skills required to be successful:
- Deep knowledge of and experience in leading extensive multisite pharmacy operations; including community, retail, inpatient / outpatient, specialty, and more.
- Strong internal and external communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of building and leading high performing geographically dispersed cross-functional teams with a passion for coaching, mentoring and promoting career development.
- Outstanding organizational, executive leadership skills and abilities
- Translate strategic objectives from business transformation initiatives into actionable plans and ensure successful execution.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving with the ability to manage multiple client and internal stakeholder expectations.
- Experience successfully reducing operating costs by implementing automation and process efficiencies.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing on both long and short-term strategic plans and priorities, while exceeding day-to-day operational performance goals.
- Exceptional collaboration and negotiation skills, and the ability to form strong relationships both externally and internally to drive the organization’s mission, vision, business objectives, and financial performance.
- Strong comprehension of pharmacy benefit management and 340B operations / regulations combined with extensive and broad healthcare industry experience.
