The VP Operations will be reporting to the President of the company. The candidate will be the company’s second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of business. The goal of the position is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth. This is a full-time position.

Primary Functions:

• Designing and implementing business strategies, structure and processes
• Evaluate employee performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics, taking disciplinary action when needed
• Working with HR to recruit, interview and onboard new employees
• Providing regular reports for the senior leadership team.
• Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
• Build and manage relationships with partners/vendors
• Set, then actively manage comprehensive goals for performance and growth
• Responsible for maximizing the day-to-day operations of the Company
• Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.)
• Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication

Essential Qualifications:

• Experience from Construction, Environmental, Utility, Transportation, Engineering, River or Water Authority industries required
• Strong work ethic, "roll up your sleeves" leader
• MBA degree preferred but not required
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, operations, business administration or related field
• Previous P&L responsibility
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• 5-10 years working in operations, 3-5 years managing employees
