Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Senior Vice President of Operations (SVP) at YES Communities, you will hold a pivotal role in the organization, overseeing and orchestrating key operational aspects to ensure the company's continued growth and success.


By conducting thorough evaluations, you will gain insights into the challenges faced by properties and regions, allowing you to devise strategic plans tailored to each one's unique needs. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in implementing these plans effectively, helping these properties and regions achieve their objectives and ultimately contribute to the overall success of YES Communities.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and evaluate underperforming properties and regions and develop/implement plan for property/region to achieve its objectives.
  • Identify and execute areas of opportunity for efficiency and cost-savings
  • Develop, manage, and monitor division and region budgets to achieve target division goals
  • Manage company capital plan
  • Direct Company-wide procurement platform initiative
  • Work with Division Vice-Presidents to troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day challenges including occupancy, collections, resident issues, community maintenance, staffing and emergency protocols.
  • Adjust policy and procedures for enhanced time and cost efficiency for division and/or company.
  • Communicate information and goals to the regions to ensure compliance with company operations and expectations.
  • Lead capital management team for effective project completion and cost control

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Possesses a minimum of ten years of extensive operational experience, preferably within the Manufactured Housing Industry or the Multi-family Industry.
  • Minimum of ten years of robust operational experience, preferably in the Manufactured Housing Industry or the Multi-family Industry.
  • Adaptable and skilled at multitasking, excelling in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while ensuring clarity and problem-solving; demonstrates resourcefulness in task prioritization and fostering talent.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration within a dynamic leadership team.
  • Exhibits unwavering integrity, credibility, and dedication to the corporate mission.
  • Proficient in organizational development, personnel management, budget development, and strategic planning.
  • Proven track record in financial planning and analysis.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality.
