About the PepsiCo Foods North America (PFNA) Strategy & Transformation Function:


The PepsiCo Foods North America (PFNA) Strategy & Transformation function plays the lead role in charting the long-term growth, transformation and portfolio development of the PFNA sector. We are tasked with shaping the future of the business and ensuring the company invests in the assets and capabilities needed to stay ahead of the competition and maintain market leadership. This entails developing actionable solutions for some of the most challenging issues facing the company.


To bring fresh and disruptive thinking to the ever-changing macro-environment, PepsiCo has Strategy & Transformation professionals aligned to each of our Sectors (e.g., PFNA), Global Businesses, and to PepsiCo Corporate. Joining PFNA’s Strategy & Transformation function will enable you to experience the breadth of PFNA’s extensive portfolio and deepen your understanding of the business and industry.


About the PFNA Strategy Team:


  • Shape business development by leading the evaluation of M&A and alliances
  • Serve as the internal consulting team and business partners to PFNA and the Sr. Leadership team
  • Collaborate and partner across brands, functions and divisions in PFNA to drive strategic initiatives to action
  • Partner across other Strategy & Transformation teams and efforts worldwide as applicable
  • Build the long-term enterprise strategy of PFNA to deliver sustainable, profitable growth
  • You will contribute to a range of critical and impactful business priorities. Key responsibilities of the team include the following:


Responsibilities


  • Contribute to capability building for the entire Global Strategy function (e.g. Recruiting, Training, Knowledge Management, etc)
  • Assist in the planning and execution of the Enterprise Strategic Planning and Annual Operating Plan Processes
  • Develop white papers on key strategic topics to drive E2E execution e.g. business line scale-up, category entry
  • Serve as the analytics point-person on projects, applying logical and creative thinking to drive to fact-based insights
  • Execute against time-sensitive requests from the President of PFC, Senior Director Strategy & Transformation, and cross-functional business partners
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and influence management skills, including the ability to challenge the status quo
  • Provide thought partnership to business partners and Senior Executives of PepsiCo Foods Canada (PFC) on a broad range of business-critical topics
  • Identify potential acquisition and partnership targets in strategic white space territories and lead on the due diligence process
  • Maintain an external mindset, including staying on top of consumer, competitive, and macroeconomic / geopolitical trends and define implications for PFC
  • Build project deliverables for high impact, cross-functional projects in partnership with Senior Director Strategy & Transformation


Compensation & Benefits:


  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $98,700 - $165,150

Qualifications


  • Bachelor degree in business, economics, or other similar analytical discipline
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to “manage up”
  • Excellent technical skills to process large quantities of data in an error-free manner
  • Strategic mindset and highly analytical thinker with sound business judgment
  • 4+ years of strategy experience either within a corporate strategy team or 3+ years of experience within a Top-Tier consulting firm
  • Global outlook with sensitivity and awareness of social and cultural differences; foreign language skills highly desired
  • Love of Consumer Packaged Goods and our brands
