Job Description
Overview


This role is dedicated to providing sourcing, staffing and onboarding support to Sales & Delivery and Manufacturing & Warehouse teams for frontline employees in the Ohio Market. This position will be based out of Twinsburg, but will require travel to locations in northern Ohio, as needed.


Responsibilities


  • Lead and support New Hire Orientation and frontline onboarding efforts for the market.
  • Coordinate Hiring Events in partnership with local teams for “urgent” roles to ensure proper staffing levels.
  • May support hiring activities in one or multiple locations within several functions at any given time.
  • Partner with ADP, HR and Frontline Staffing Teams to identify new ways to attract talent.
  • Actively recruit talent through partnerships with Community Based Organizations, ADP etc.
  • Monitor post-onboarding effectiveness/retention through surveys or data collection.
  • Execute the full life cycle of the recruitment process for each requisition, including:
  • Interview and evaluate frontline candidates for “urgent” roles.
  • Screen, assess, and evaluate internal and external candidates who have applied to our roles and present qualified candidates to the Hiring team. Candidate slate representation should meet diversity requirements established by the function(s).
  • May participate in a client/location focused project that supports long term staffing needs, goals, and/or AOP.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships while building credibility with multiple stakeholders, including functional hiring managers, HR partners, and ADP.
  • Successfully manage high volume of open requisitions, with a focus on “urgent” roles.
  • Ensure timely and effective communications between candidate(s) and hiring team.
  • Communicate and educate hiring managers and frontline supervisory teams on the staffing policies and processes – serve as the ADP liaison.
  • Provide staffing support for M&W/S&D client teams, with a goal of filling open roles with qualified talent while achieving target metrics such as Time to Accept, Time to Find/Hire, retention, and system accuracy, among others.
  • Work closely with ADP to ensure seamless candidate process.
  • Manage the feedback process to determine next step actions. Manage the process to achieve/build consensus, with manager oversight when needed.
  • Utilize problem solving techniques to find resolutions for requisition related issues.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Prior experience working with a diverse and dynamic audience.
  • Ability to deliver developed onboarding material effectively.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience (i.e. recruiting, staffing, onboarding, training, HR).
  • Previous experience with high-volume, full life-cycle Talent Acquisition/Staffing experience.
  • Proficient in full suite of Microsoft products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Use your skills and experience in software engineering, architecture, and design for enterprise application development, working with a team of developers and vendors to focus on the Supply Chain functions for PepsiCo Foods North America (PFNA). This role supports end-to-end development of custom applications and releases for a long-term, enterprise-wide warehouse management solution.


Responsibilities


  • Provide technical expertise across the application portfolio (the organization's collection of software applications and software-based services).
  • Design and build reusable platform capabilities and accelerators that facilitate the evolution of existing and development of new applications.
  • Design, build, and deliver state-of-the-art applications for the Supply Chain function.
  • Evaluate technology and vendors, helping with selections for the hosting stack, which in turn helps ensure the best possible outcome for full development operations, from idea to deployment.
  • Develop microservice-based cloud-native applications (microservices) for the warehouse management system (WMS) as software that enables product movement within the organization's warehouses, plants, and distribution centers.
  • Keep up with development trends, incorporating new capabilities as appropriate to ensure applications remain modern and relevant.
  • Design solution architecture that brings state-of-the-art capabilities for both web and mobile applications to the Supply Chain function.
  • Follow agile methodologies to create user stories, set up sprints, and create Program Increment (PI) planning for developing microservices architecture.
  • Maintains current development capabilities.
  • Build automation into development and deployment to help optimize the software development cycle, resulting in broader teamwork that adds value and focus on critically needed tasks.
  • Build reusable components and accelerators to optimize costs and development speed.
  • Support end-to-end development of software releases for a complex project.


Qualifications


  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related area.
  • Strong team player with effective collaboration skills.
  • 8-plus years of experience developing software applications in a container approach, including 8-plus years using Java APIs and C( and 5-plus years enabling microservices.
  • 5 years of experience using SQL.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.


Also, you must have:


  • Knowledge of or experience working in a development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) environment.
  • Operational knowledge or experience developing applications for Warehouse Management and Supply Chain and be familiar with other application-development tools and technologies, including Microsoft Azure.
  • A background that demonstrates strong application development skills using Java, C(, and Python.
  • A product mindset, willingness to travel to the software user's location, and strong customer-centric attitude.
  • Experience participating on an agile team, supporting the end-to-end development of software releases related to a complex WMS project.
  • Front-end, web development skills using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and Angular.
