Senior Manager - Strategy and Corporate Development


You're Role


We're looking for a Senior Manager of Strategy and Corporate Development who shares our passion for innovation, growth, and sustainability. Working closely with the VP of Corporate and Business Development, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of Ardent Mills. Your Responsibilities


  • Assist with the development of business cases for potential acquisitions and investments
  • Lead and manage M&A transactions, including conducting due diligence, preparing financial models, and negotiating deal terms
  • Lead the execution of strategic initiatives and ensure that they are aligned with the company's overall growth strategy
  • Work with business units to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization
  • Work with legal and finance teams to ensure that transactions are structured appropriately and comply with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in the development of the company's overall growth strategy, including identifying new product and service opportunities and evaluating potential markets for expansion
  • Conduct regular reviews of strategic initiatives to ensure that they remain on track and identify potential risks and issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with investment bankers, private equity firms, and other strategic partners
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives
  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and investment opportunities
  • Develop and manage project plans for strategic initiatives, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives


Essential Skills And Experience


  • Strong financial analysis skills and experience with M&A transactions and / or strategy projects
  • 7+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, management consulting or a related field, CPG experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with senior executives
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field required; MBA preferred
  • Strong work ethic and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION:


We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and level of experiences. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $150,000.00 - $165,000.00, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally, we believe that our team members are the reason for our success and all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved. While the specific bonus plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions, the targeted bonus plan and targeted percentage amount for this role is Bonus - MIP, 15% Annual: Individual Target.
