The Company

We are a fast growing and entrepreneurial private, multinational corporation with nine offices spanning across North America, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia. Our business interests are in real estate, agriculture, textiles, sustainability, chemicals, energy, and technology services.

The Role

In this newly created role, we are currently seeking a Corporate Strategy and Corporate Development Director to join our lean and dynamic organization. You will join a small team of individuals who embrace and respect diverse perspectives, value new insights and are not afraid to push boundaries, and are passionate about helping our customers and each other succeed. This is a great role for someone with a private equity investment background who wants to work in-house at a fast growing company to have meaningful exposure to value creation as an industry generalist.

This unique role will report directly to the CFO and Chairman while having a lot of exposure to all C levels at the firm. Working closely with top executives of the company, you will develop and drive firm wide strategy, product development, functional and regional strategy. You will impact decisions across the core functions of the company as well as pull data driven insights from analysis used by key leaders/our Board of Directors. You will have the opportunity to lead strategy projects and track implementation and ongoing success. This is a cross functional role with limitless growth potential!

Key Responsibilities

● Develop relationships with external capital partners and advisors, and lead M&A opportunities, divestitures, and capital raises

● Drive continuous engagement with the business leaders to identify key strategic projects that have enterprise-wide implications on the various business segments and their own unique strategies

● Demonstrate superior strategic and analytical skills with ability to draw key insights and develop actionable recommendations

● Deliver analytically rigorous and data-driven insights, including financial models and projections, to support actionable strategic recommendations, business prioritization, and enterprise strategy communications

● Use intellectual agility and superior written and verbal communication to develop presentations that simplify and clearly communicate complex concepts and facilitate discussions with executives, advisors and capital partners

● Work collaboratively and effectively across a global matrix organization to build alignment and ensure successful execution of strategic projects

● Incorporate short-term, medium-term, and long-term corporate strategy across the group

● Attending quarterly board meetings

Education and Experience

● 6+ years total work experience. A minimum of 4+ years’ experience in a top-tier investment banking, private equity or management consulting firm.

● Experience gained in a variety of leadership roles (informal or formal) including time spent in both strategy and corporate development roles

● The Ideal candidate will have experience gained at regional and global levels, especially between the US and Latin America; Experience in real estate, industrials, textiles or agriculture a plus.

● The individual should have a track record of driving change and transformation and have demonstrated experience in large scale project execution

This role will be working east coast business hours. While the preference would be for this person to be based out of Miami or New York, we are open to other candidates open to working east coast hours we currently reside in the US.
