Rng Senior Manager Corporate Development

AD Energy are working with an exciting RNG Developer based in the US & Canada, they have an opening for a Senior Manager Corporate Development.

As a Manager, Corporate Development, you will support the corporate development efforts in acquisitions and partnership opportunities as well as internally generated projects. You will work closely with an executive management team and provide financial modelling and analysis of the various corporate development opportunities, you will also be tasked with preparing and presenting the findings and recommendations. You will assist in proposal preparation for new business development opportunities, including but not limited to letters of intent and request for proposal responses.

You will actively communicate with external prospects, vendors and project hosts, and internally with cross-functional departments in support of the diligence and investigation of prospective investment and acquisition opportunities. You will be tasked with the formulation of financial reports based on shared private and public information, inclusive of the prospective business’ company revenue, staff resources assessments, and general due diligence.

The candidate shall have excellent interpersonal skills, who is used to working on multiple projects at the same time and is equally comfortable working independently and in a team setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Updating a corporate model on a quarterly basis
• Preparing reports on the basis of analysis and communicating the insights of these reports to senior management
• Managing financial models and providing financial forecasts
• Reviewing and analysing investment opportunities and acquisition targets
• Consulting with the management team to develop long-term commercial plans refining base case assumptions
• Assisting with project proposals for new development opportunities
• Overseeing a team of two financial analysts
• Supporting development team with ongoing analysis for internally generated projects
• Developing initiatives and policies that may improve financial growth, and Analysing current and past financial data in the context of acquisitions and development opportunities
• Analysing financial performance of target investment and acquisition opportunities and identifying trends

Basic Qualifications (MUST HAVE)

• 8-10 years of experience in a similar capacity; preferably in the energy industry
• Work comfortably in a group/cross-functional setting, have excellent problem solving skills, and have an ability to remain calm in the face of uncertainty
• Ability to interact positively and effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with statistical analysis and financial forecasting
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel and PowerPoint, which will be necessary for the creation of both visually and verbally engaging reports and presentations for senior management and collaborating personnel
• Strong verbal, written, computer communication, and organization skills in drafting analyses reports for senior management, which must be clear, comprehensive, exhaustive, and easy-to-understand in order to facilitate appropriate decision-making in sensitive matters
• Ability to provide mentorship and share expertise with the analysts on challenging modelling tasks and prioritization of work stream
• A Bachelor of Science degree in finance, economics, accounting or mathematics
• Strong research, attention to detail, financial modelling, and technical skills
