Sr. Director Of Operations

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA 95742

Schedule: Required Mondays through Friday ONSITE – normal 8-5:00pm PST

Must-haves

• Successful track record for building, and maintaining, strong internal and external customer relationships.
• Demonstrate understanding of financial impacts of decisions.
• At least a minimum of ten (10) years’ of relevant experience in leading and managing a manufacturing organization, with a strong preference for a background in Defense and/or RF Microwave.
• Previous experience working in Supply Chain (Prior experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and supply chain management)
• Demonstrate champion of diversity and inclusion.
• US Citizen and able to attain Security Clearance
• Demonstrate ability to exercise sound judgment and make timely business decisions.
• Understanding of standard manufacturing practices, AS9000 /ISO9001 quality requirements.
• Experience running a $30M+ highly technical manufacturing operation

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Director of Operations for a Defense Electronics client. The Sr. Director of Operations ensures that the company's everyday activities run smoothly. This professional will set parameters to judge how efficiently and effectively the operations organization is operating. Accordingly, they will be responsible for overseeing Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering. This position will report directly to the Vice President and General Manager of the business unit.

• Work closely with the VP and General Manager in the formation and execution of the annual business plan, along with responsibilities to provide consistent accurate information for the purposes of monthly forecasting against this plan.
• Responsible for targeting specific areas in which a company may need to improve operational efficiencies including the monitoring revenue margins and worker productivity, as well as implementing new directives R
• Will regular contact and involvement with our customers to assure alignment of our business and the customer needs and requirements.
• In specific, this position will lead the coordination of our business flow, from purchase order review to procurement of materials and services, to production planning and execution of orders through shipment of product to customers.
• Esponsible for setting guidelines for personnel evaluations, recruitment, and advancement.
• Critical daily tasks will be weighted heavily to making business decisions that will allow for predictability in our monthly and quarterly performance.
