Our client is an owner and manager of class-a multifamily properties. The company has an extraordinary team of passionate and efficient professionals and needs a Director of Operations who is highly organized with exceptional business operations knowledge to provide operational support to President.

The Director of Operations provides administrative and operational support to the President and property team. The Director of Operations will be responsible for the management office that supports the portfolio including budget development, financial management and reporting, the day-to-day bookkeeping and monthly accounting, implementation of management tools and operational policies, payroll and HR policies and procedures. A strong Director of Operations will have full cycle business operations experience with strong financial management and oversight of operational policies.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the company's growth and aim to achieve $10 million in revenue by 2027. Help the company stay on San Francisco Business Times Fast 100 list each year.
- Implement and maintain technological solutions and systems to optimize organizational performance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee the company's day-to-day operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, billing, and accounting functions.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives using management tools to enhance the company's performance, utilizing a 90-day plan matrix.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned.
- Provide support to the President by coordinating with external stakeholders such as the bookkeeper, CPA, vendors, and consultants.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, and vendors.
Position Requirements
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, CRM software (Salesforce and Monday.com), and project management software (Monday.com).
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior-level administrative or operational role.
- Direct experience in using and integrating business software, such as Microsoft Office, DocuSign, QuickBooks, Monday.com, Harvest, and Constant Contact
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, public administration, or a related field.
