Salary starting at $175,000.

We are seeking a Director of Operations to lead and optimize the day-to-day functions of a lean yet dynamic organization. Reporting directly to the owner and working closely with project leads and engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring seamless project execution, and nurturing the existing culture of collaboration and excellence. This is a pivotal role that will enable the owner to focus on his role as the company's visionary and primary salesperson while entrusting the operational leadership to a seasoned professional.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all operational aspects of the company, streamlining processes, and driving efficiency to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

• Collaborate with project leads to manage the execution of high-value projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, cost-effectiveness, and timeliness.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project leads, engineers, and support staff, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Work closely with the Owner to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with the company's growth goals while maintaining its core values and identity.

• Foster effective communication and collaboration between project teams, engineers, and support staff to enhance overall project performance.

• Ensure adherence to rigorous quality standards and regulatory requirements to maintain our reputation for delivering top-tier technology solutions.

• Collaborate with finance and project leads to manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and optimize resource allocation.

Experience/Skills Required:

• Ability to earn trust and establish rapport with the Owner and the team, while demonstrating a collaborative and approachable leadership style.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in complex situations.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional teams, ideally in a high-end technology or IT environment
• Technical acumen with a background in IT projects and understanding of home automation and control systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate teams effectively.
• Strong commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, IT Management, or related field
• Strong background in operations, project management, and process optimization.
