Senior Business Analyst / PM

Company: Pointwest Technologies Corporation

Location: Hybrid (Onsite periodically but mostly remote)

Application: Ongoing support and enhancements of Promotional Marketing workflows, primarily in Salesforce.

Overview:

This position is for a highly motivated individual who is not only a team player but can also act as a Business Analyst / Delegate Product Owner as a crucial part of the Entertainment and Sports Marketing IT Team at Pointwest Technologies. The role is about developing a profound understanding of the business process of creating promotional materials. This will be done by collaborating with the business teams to map and validate these processes. The findings will then be written as user stories for the development team to implement through to go-live.

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing stories primarily using declarative tools on the Salesforce platform and relying on custom development only when necessary, all based on client requirements.
• Engaging in the technical design, development, and implementation of custom Salesforce applications in an agile framework.
• Acting as a proxy product owner to validate completed development, providing recommendations on priorities and features.
• Crafting detailed business analysis, outlining issues, opportunities, and solutions for a business aligned with key standards and principles.
• Offering 2nd line production support of the existing platform as required.
• Delivering presentations and reports to Senior Leadership within IT and the business domain as needed.
• Forging strong relationships with IT teams to seamlessly integrate our Marketing applications with other solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience in Project Management, including UAT and Production deployment coordination.
• Demonstrated self-initiative.
• A minimum of 5 years in application development.
• Strong analytical prowess.
• Capacity to read the room and engage in participative communications.
• Collaborative team player mindset.
• Business curiosity and a vision-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities:
• Proven experience with Agile methodologies (user story examples should be provided).
• Prior experience working with senior-level decision-makers.

Beneficial but Not Mandatory:

• Experience with Mulesoft.
• Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
• Salesforce knowledge.
