The Lead Image Analyst (Staff Research Associate IV) will work independently with junior and senior staff to process imaging data sets and reconstruct images and data for all sections. Will be under the general supervision of the Operations Manager of the Clinical Quantitative Image Analysis and 3D Visualization Service, a subdivision of the Computer Vision and Imaging Biomarkers group, and as such, will also follow the directives of the co-directors of that group. The Lead Image Analyst will collect data from multiple radiologic imaging modalities (including but not limited to Xray, CT, MR, PET) and utilize the data to produce images or imaging data sets which reflect and convey complex 3-dimensional relationships or functional aspects including but not limited to perfusion analysis and diffusion-weighted data, in order to highlight relevant anatomy or pathology. In this role you will assist the Manager to improve workflows by providing support, education and leadership to the staff members. You shall be responsible to lead interdepartmental projects, resolving technical/product-related issues, testing clinical solutions and updating current standard operating procedures.
* · Bachelor’s degree or Graduate degree - preferred * · At least 4 years of working experience in relevant area or a combination of equivalent education, training and experience - preferred * · Attentive to detail and high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology. * · Detail oriented, with demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, set schedules and complete tasks in a timely manner while maintaining institutional standards * · In-depth knowledge in using clinical application systems (e.g., Vitrea, Osirix, Visage, Syngo, PACS) and functions to process and generate high-quality 3D, multi-planar and angiographic images * · In-depth knowledge in using dedicated CAD packages for quantitative analyses and other tissue- or organ-specific processing (e.g., DynaCAD, iCAD, Profuse) * · Thorough knowledge of Windows and Mac platforms, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Teams, Slack and Zoom
