The Role at a glance:

We are looking for a skilled, motivated bartender to join our Constellation team at the California Academy of Science in San Francisco, CA. As a bartender, you will have the opportunity to mix and serve a variety of beverages and perform meal service for a diverse clientele.

Compensation: $25 an hour

What you'll be doing:

• Performing food service as needed.
• Following standard recipes to mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests of the service bar.
• Setting up and breaking down all front of house and back of house bars and beverage stations.
• Customer service, including describing and recommending menu items.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• Ability to memorize and describe a variety of recipes, especially for mixed beverages.
• A valid state bartending license.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• At least 18 years old.

Nice-to-haves:

• Prior bartending experience.
