Position:
We need a detail-oriented data entry operator to help us create, collect, and maintain our digital database. You will be expected to compile, merge, and format papers for data entry, review documents for mistakes, input data and update the database, and handle the digital file systems as a data entry operator.
To be a great data entry operator, you must have strong typing abilities and be detail-oriented. Skilled data entry operators should be able to recognize data inaccuracies promptly and work with precision.
Requirements:
  • GED or high school diploma.
  • Excellent typing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Understanding of administrative and clerical procedures.
  • A keen eye for detail and the capacity to concentrate for lengthy amounts of time are required.
  • Excellent knowledge of databases, as well as digital and traditional file systems.
  • 1 year of experience as a data entry operator or an equivalent position.
  • Knowledge of data capture and office management applications such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • The ability to accurately organize and process large amounts of data.
  • Outstanding time management and multitasking skills.
Other information:
Documents, materials, and information are gathered, collated, and prepared for data entry.
Conducting research in order to gather information for missing documents and materials.
Making digital copies of paper or dictation.
Examining all documents and material for accuracy and reporting any errors or inconsistencies to the supervisor.
Putting data into digital databases and backing it up on a regular basis.
Databases, archives, and filing systems must be updated and maintained.
Monitoring, examining, and correcting errors or discrepancies in databases.
As needed, generate and export data reports, spreadsheets, and documents.
Filing, managing office supplies, scanning, and printing are examples of clerical duties.
