Job Description

Post: Smart Hand Cabling Tech (IT Support)

Experience: 6+ Years

Joining: Immediate/15 days

Location: Stanford (USA Onsite)



1. Experience related network cabling and refresh projects (involving the Cisco Chassis based access switches (such as 4500’s, 9400’s etc.).

2. We are looking for candidates with specific skills and experience pertaining to the network refresh, migration projects only (brown field).

3. Providing 24/7 Tier2 support on Data Centre Operator (Infrastructures).

4. Assist and manage IT for migrations, deployment, build outs, trading floor offices wiring and cable management

5. Taking care L1 support for server. (IPMI configuration, IPMI update)

6. Creating a problem ticket accordingly to the incident was happened and helps them for troubleshooting.

7. Knowledge of IBM, HP, DELL Libraries and Media Tapes.

8. Mounting of Servers & Network Devices.

9. Provide Smart Hand Support to customers as per their requirement.

10. Making Rack inventory.

11. Challenges which are faced for troubleshooting and rebooting the particular server, Handling backup tapes, iLo configuration, Patching cables, Network link testing.

12. Installing or replacing hardware of servers like HDD, SSD, RAM, SMPS & other replaceable parts.

13. Basic knowledge about LAN, WAN, IPMI, Power cables, Patch cables.

14. Installation of servers Operating Systems like CentOs, Ubuntu, Windows Server, Proxmos, etc.

15. Attending trouble tickets and fault localization till its resolution

16. Ensure adherence to processes as per company defined SLA.

17. Hand on experience on Network wire crimping.
