Role Description

SEMCO Engineering Inc. is looking for a full-time Project Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, CA. The candidate will be responsible for performing structural analysis and calculations, as well as designing and developing construction documents. They will also be responsible for providing technical support to contractors and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of relevant codes and regulations(CBC, ASCE 7, NDS, ACI 318, AISC)
• Experience with Enercalc, RISA and Autocad
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, calculations, and structural analysis
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

We are looking for a candidate with 2 years minimum experience and a P.E. license. An intimate knowledge of wood detailing and proficiency with Autocad is needed. This job is an opportunity to see projects come to life and be involved from the conceptual stage through construction.
