Cellar Production Supervisor

Looking for the ultimate Swiss Army Knife who's interested in taking on the challenge that comes with working in a start-up environment. We have a fantastic team and a great product. Fast-paced and ever-changing, the perfect candidate will be flexible, willing to tackle new projects all the time and not afraid of hard work. We need someone who is eager to learn, but will have a strong understanding of the way winemaking equipment works, best cellar practices and an understanding of winemaking dos and don'ts. Experience with bottling line/bottling equipment and general maintenance is also desired. If that sounds good to you, you're our newest hire!

Your Role And Responsibilities

• Working directly with the winemaker and operations team
• Handling and caring for bulk wine (tank and barrel)
• Working with all equipment associated with wine manufacturing and bottling
• Synchronizing bottling efforts with the operations team and winemaker
• Maintaining equipment
• Opening and closing of wine cellar
• Blending, Filtering, Fining, Racking and otherwise maintaining and prepping all wines

Requirements For This Position

• Must have experience working in a wine cellar
• Lift up to 50lbs.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be familiar with systems and processes associated with wine storage, winemaking, and bottling
• Able to perform physical tasks and spend the majority of a shift on your feet.
• Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
