Senior Vice President, Sales (REMOTE! - U.S. Based)


About The Role:


We seek an experienced Senior Vice President of Sales for our quickly growing organization. As part of the Sales team, you will report to the Chief Executive Officer and ultimately be responsible for the new business sales results at Accredible. We have effective inbound and outbound lead generation strategies and are regularly growing our sales pipeline. We currently have a mid-sized team of SDRs, and AEs/SAEs in the U.S. and U.K. We have revenue enablement and revenue operations functions with key foundational processes in place. Here is what we need from you to take us to the next level:


Key Responsibilities


First Year Outcomes:


By the end of your first year in this role, you will have:


  • Collaborated with the Revenue Operations team to iterate on process improvement to drive better efficiencies across the sales process.
  • Developed a high performing sales team where 80% of reps are consistently hitting their target.
  • Retained and continued to develop our existing sales reps and management team.
  • Promoted our exceptional culture within the sales team and throughout the organization.
  • Worked with Revenue Enablement to ensure our onboarding experience, training, ramp time, and ongoing training/upskilling are exceptional.
  • Successfully added new team members with strong sales competencies and cultural fit.
  • Collaborated with Marketing to build out collateral that helps the sales team win deals.
  • Maintained and improved upon sales metrics like win rate, close-time, and average deal size.
  • Created a consistent feedback loop to the SLT and in particular the product team to help provide frontline data on potential roadmap additions.
  • Achieved strong revenue results against set targets with a solid track record of accurately forecasting sales results.
  • Consistently set and achieved ambitious quarterly goals.
  • Developed positive and collaborative cross-functional relationships with the Marketing, Revenue Operations, Revenue Enablement, and SDR teams.


Skills, Knowledge And Expertise


Requirements:


Role based:
  • Ability to roll up your sleeves to get into the details and show by example how great sales should be performed. Must have a high personal proficiency level in sales, and not hesitate to make direct use of those skills to assist your team.
  • Have a data-led and analytical mindset, with a history of using data to improve sales process and efficiency.
  • Directly managed stateside and international Mid-market, Enterprise, and SDR teams. Have also managed Revenue Enablement and Revenue Operations teams.
  • (NEW) Desire to monitor territory performance, identify growth opportunities, and make recommendations for realignment or adjustments.
  • History of defining and allocating sales quotas and territories in a B2B SaaS environment based on market potential, customer segmentation, and business objectives.
  • Exceptional coaching ability resulting in the ability to motivate teams to achieve their best results.
  • Proven success (at least 10 years of experience) with mid-stage startup sales teams that have demonstrated the ability to grow ARR 2-3x year over year.
  • A track record of successfully attracting optimal profiles and retaining exceptional sales talent.
  • Must Haves:
  • Be able to work and support the EST time zone.
  • Developed and maintained demand forecasting models and methodologies based on historical data, market trends, and sales inputs.
  • Ability to set a clear and compelling vision and to execute on a strategy.
  • MEDDIC and/or Sandler sales methodology.
  • Preferred but not required:
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • SMB experience.
  • Experience in an industry related to education, professional associations or examinations/proctoring.
