Job Description

Scope (% of Time)
  • Actively prospect new business and secure repeat events. (18%)
  • Attend networking functions and trade shows as needed to promote the hotel. (2.5%)
  • Detail and prepare all Private Event Orders and communicate relevant and accurate information to all hotel departments. (6%)
  • Conduct site experiences and entertain potential and existing clients. (10%)
  • Be responsible for and implement a sales action plan for the development of catering market segment. (3%)
  • Monitor, handle and process all billing/payment procedures according to accounting standards. (2.5%)
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports of sales calls and marketing actions as requested by Director of Sales (3%)
  • Welcome contact upon arrival at function and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Deliver revenue expectations in line with overall hotel budget (40%)
  • Develop strong working relationships with hotel department heads and operational areas. (3%)

  • Respect guidelines of confidentiality and code of ethics in all company areas. Represent Loews Hotels in a professional manner at all times. (1%)
  • Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards (1%)

  • Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area (1%)
  • Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times (1%)
  • Attends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions (1%)

  • Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees (1%)

Salary range for this position, based on experience, is $77,900.00 to $97,400.00.
