Sadis & Goldberg, LLP, a prestigious boutique law firm founded in 1997 with a strong reputation for representing hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, as well as other investment management firms is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to work closely with the Director of Marketing in supporting the firms marketing efforts.

Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the firm’s lawyers in all marketing projects and activities. This position will work closely with the Head of Marketing & Business Development in organizing and coordinating the firm’s external marketing activities. Candidates must be self-motivated and detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain experience supporting all marketing efforts and grow in an expanding function for the firm.Responsibilities include the following activities:

Event Support (heavy emphasis):

• Work closely with stakeholders to plan and execute seminar/event/webinar activities, including logistics, registration, including on-site event support
• Coordinate speaking and sponsorship opportunities with professional and trade organizations
• Internal meeting planning and scheduling
• Assist with writing event communications

Communications & Design:

• Provides creative support for marketing communications programs, writes/designs collateral as needed for handouts, the firm’s Internet, presentations, white papers, etc.
• Independently manages the development of pitch materials and customization, working directly with partners.
• Edits and proofreads written materials
• Creates and repurposes content for external communications on various platforms, including interviewing attorneys and conducting research to draft submissions, press releases, and related content for publication
• Writes and edits press releases, client alerts, external communications, and other marketing collateral material

Digital Marketing:

• Independently create and manage e-mail marketing campaigns.
• Generate and format reports for active and post-campaign/event follow-up. Create/edit report formats as needed for expanded business development efforts.
• Enhance the basic information about contacts with activities, notes, and additional key pieces of data.
• Support edits to the website and social media channels
• Collect, enter, and update contact data in the CRM system. Oversee other staff that may be enlisted to help on occasion.
• Review and report website analytics as they relate to events, social media, and traffic.
• Provide support around digital advertising campaigns

Experience and other Requirements:

• Ability to pay attention to detail, multi-task, and take initiative
• Excellent verbal and writing skills (spelling and grammar)
• Experience using Constant Contact, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or other marketing automation platforms, preferred
• Professional demeanor
• Ability to work well independently and with team members
• College degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, business, or related field
• 3 - 5 years of previous legal or professional services experience preferred
• Experience updating website content management systems
• High competency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative, required
• Proactive, self-motivated, eager to learn and grow
