Coordinator, Pr & Influencer Marketing

This position reports to the Assistant Manager of Global PR & Influencer Marketing.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct market/media research and apply findings to documentation, projects, and campaigns
• Provide support on the ongoing day-to-day planning and execution of key influencer activities including product mailers, gift bags, events, and earned social media coverage from editors and influencers.
• Monitor organic mentions beyond what our resource platform picks up (Tribe Dynamics, etc.) and ensuring social and direct engagement with these influencers resource platform picks up (Tribe, etc.)
• Ensure INTL teams + Global PR agency partners requests are met in a timely manner
• Assist agency and Assistant Manager in building and editing mailer lists, invite lists and other target lists.
• Assist with executing a variety of influencer marketing campaigns and program plans in compliance with FTC guidelines
• Maintain product inventory forecast and transfers to warehouse
• Deliver accurate and actionable meeting recaps
• Support PR + Influencer marketing team on administrative tasks including invoicing, expenses, replenishing PR supplies and other applicable administrative tasks
• Strong knowledge and ongoing learning on social platforms and changes that could alter strategy, such as algorithm updates or social behavior shifts
• This role will work closely with the Assistant Manager, Manager and Director of Global PR & Influencer Marketing to develop and execute the Sol de Janeiro global strategy.
• Researching and identifying brand ambassadors and VIP gifting opportunities
• Manage the [email protected] email requests and routing to the appropriate team member in a timely manner
• Own the sample request process, partnering with cross functional teams to coordinate the fulfillment of all incoming sample inquiries from influencers and media outlets while maintaining and monitoring tracking documents
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date media lists, influencer databases/ directory, meeting agendas/reports, etc.
• Assist in developing press pitch documents and interview preparation documents for brand founders
• Provide administrative and marketing support to prepare the necessary 360 GTM and campaign presentations
• Schedule meetings to go over reports received on a monthly basis.
• Manage the meeting coordination between multiple team members across calendars – providing links and materials ahead of meeting where applicable

Qualifications:

• Must be comfortable working a hybrid schedule (remote + in our New York office 2-3 days / as needed)
• At least 1-3 years of on-the-job experience (including internships)
• An open-minded team player with a collaborative attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or a related field
• Highly organized and able to manage complex projects; detail oriented and take direction and flexible working within multiple project focused teams
• Impeccable follow through
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the PR and Social Media landscape, trends, and platforms with a strong pulse on creative talent and media across fashion, celebrity, and influencers
• Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority and attention to detail
• Deep knowledge of social content and social best practices, an eye on competitive marketplace and staying up to date with social trends

Salary Range

$65,000—$70,000 USD

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
