Senior Manager - Procurement Finance

National beverage brand within a Global Food & Beverage manufacturer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lean in with the operational material supply planning function, including critical forward-looking models and KPIs to manage supply vs demand requirements. This includes both short-term outlook (<1 year) and mid-range strategy (1-3 years).
• Produce monthly dynamic forecasts for all Procurement spend categories. Be able to articulate, with sound support, the drivers of forecast changes via executive presentation monthly. Must understand the complex dynamics of sales demand, production trends and supply expectations, and the strategic network. Track results vs forecast.
• Manage and lead finance professional(s) in support of the Procurement function
• Calculate, review and report on various monthly KPI’s which summarize performance in various key areas of the business along with forward-thinking leading measures to improve results.
• Partner with the Accounting team on all relevant items (Bill of Material Assumptions, Month- end, etc.)
• Lead Supply Chain contract and pricing management.
• Represent our company as a business partner to various third-party organizations including co-manufacturing facilities, raw material vendors, bottle suppliers, and consultants as required.
• Leadership skills and ability to influence with integrity are a must. Be a confident, value-add Co-Pilot of the operational business with very strong inter-personal skills. Proactively cooperate and provide indirect leadership for the Procurement function. Own education and training for the team regarding the cost structure and the key drivers guiding proper, data-driven business decisions.
• Provide a continuous improvement mindset with results orientation while playing a lead role in executing and tracking all Procurement cost-saving initiatives. Contribute transformational ideas and play a lead role in driving 5%+ in annual savings performance. This includes both short-term initiatives (within 1 year) and mid-range strategic opportunities (1-3 years).
• Principle finance partner to the Director of Procurement with full fiduciary responsibility for Procurement financial reporting, controls and analysis with a scope of $700MM+ spend annually.
• Communicate and advise senior leaders of the Supply Chain and the Finance functions as well as preparing presentations for Executive Leadership regarding Procurement strategies.
• Lead and own the annual budget process for the Procurement function by creating a detailed bottoms-up plan including continuous improvement projects and commodity indices. Own the price list and assumptions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree required, Graduate Degree in Business or related field preferred
• 6-7 years of Finance Leadership experience in a related field required, Supply Chain preferred.
• Strong systems skills (i.e. Excel, Essbase, Netsuite, BI, Access).
• In-person attendance at periodic (1-2x/yr) company retreats/meetings
• Occasional travel possible (5-10%) by car or plane
• Excellent Analytical capability and the ability to analyze large data sets and handle high volume of transactional data required
