Hello!
An employer is looking for an Operations Manager in a Remote location. This person will join the Procurement Desk team managing a team of 8 Data Admins. This person must have prior experience managing a team in the procurement/supply chain space while managing SLAs/KPIs. Must have stellar communication skills as you will be client facing. Any experience working within a managed service provider is ideal.
Responsibilities:
- The purpose of the Operations Manager is to oversee the activities including projects,
processes, and personnel management.
- Provide direct management to Team Leads and oversee the performance levels including performance reviews and employee relations
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels are in place and assist in the interviewing and hiring processes
- Monitor statistics of performance and completion of projects
- Hire, develop, coach, lead and retain top-tier talent, with a focus on building and improving a team and culture that is able to assist in employing best in class practices to support and drive high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Complete all responsibilities with team members in relation to coaching, providing feedback, and annual reviews
- Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan
- Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years previous experience in a supervisory or project management position within procurement or supply chain focused projects
- Demonstrated ability to communicate strategic objectives and procedures in both individual and large group settings
- Experience managing SLAs & KPIs
- Experience with Procurement or Purchasing ERP systems
- Experience with a service management tool -Zendesk preferred
- Experience communicating with supplier and vendor teams
- Pricing negotiation experience
- SharePoint experience
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Prior experience in finance, accounting, and bookkeeping functions highly preferred.
- Candidate must already have high speed internet connection in their home.
