As a senior manager on the Loyalty Marketing team, you will contribute to Starbucks success by nurturing members through the lifecycle of the Starbucks Rewards loyalty program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, a strong interest in loyalty and a solid business background. You will stretch both your creative and analytical muscles to build a strategy and programs that drive member transactions. Candidate also models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
As a senior manager, Loyalty Marketing, you will . . .
  • Partner with Analytics stakeholder to measure marketing campaigns, analyze insights, and optimize business plans based off results
  • Design and implement cross-channel marketing campaigns, including briefing creative teams (internal and external)
  • Develop activation innovation roadmap, build business cases, and advocate for technology prioritization
  • Manage & optimize activation-driving programs, such as new member onboarding and referral program
  • Create presentations and supporting documents to facilitate communication across and influence of stakeholder teams, as well as with leadership
  • Contribute to loyalty marketing strategy, identifying opportunities to drive activation of new Starbucks Rewards members
  • Partner with finance to manage activation forecasts/budgets
  • Collaborate with and influence cross functional teams to identify business opportunities and bring programs/campaigns to life
We’d Love To Hear From People With
  • Ability to solve complex problems and take new perspective on existing solutions
  • 7 or more years of experience in a role supporting marketing, brand management, product management, or loyalty strategy with a deep understanding of marketing trends, innovations, tools and technologies
  • Ability to build a level of trust and respect amongst peer group. Ability to navigate and influence laterally and cross-functionally
  • Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously to independently drive projects/initiatives
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, with a diverse set of stakeholders, including leadership (internal and external)
  • Proven ability to respond to and prioritize changing demands effectively
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience or four years US military experience in a related MOS/C; MBA preferred
  • Experience leading strategy across audience segmentation and journey mapping
  • Project management skills; organized, extremely high attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong business acumen and proven success managing to financial forecasts
  • Experience leading multi-channel marketing plans
  • Analytical mindset/skills; able to leverage data to develop strategy, evaluate performance, draft measurement plans, identify optimizations, etc.
