Overview
We are looking for a Sr. Director of Marketing Operations to lead a team of subordinate leaders and provide top-level strategic oversight to the supply chain management of live experiences (ie global trips and event experiences), global products and raw materials for print production in association with marketing and fundraising needs. They will be responsible for managing all aspects of marketing operations and leveraging data to help us make better decisions in marketing and as a ministry. Additionally, the incumbent will lead the in house and outsourced digital and print production of communications, which includes warehousing, post and shipping on a domestic and international scale.
What will you do?
- Directs, through subordinate leaders, all teams responsible for digital and print design and production of deliverables that are essential to customer centric journeys and campaigns for supporters of the ministry.
- Acts as an advocate for children. Understands and advances Christ's mandate to protect children. Take active steps to help protect against neglect, abuse, and exploitation of children.
- Directs the preparation and administration of the annual budget and major function expenses, ensuring accountability for on-time completion of deliverables based on department objectives, SLAs, and other Compassion standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory and board policies.
- Provides strategic oversight for major function regarding metrics and reporting related to timeliness, quantity and status of deliverables, division capacity and effectiveness, tiering, cycle times, division expense budgets and other relevant data. Analyzes and forecasts demand and capacity to support workload planning for production resources.
- Represents the division on various cross-functional leadership or strategic teams. Advocates and collaborates with leaders and executives across the ministry to ensure that the division serves the greater needs and objectives of the ministry and it's constituents.
- Forges partnerships with leaders across Marketing, IT, Fundraising, and Supporter Care to facilitate scalable production models, workflows, and communication processes. Provides strategic direction and oversight regarding the infrastructure of the production and distribution teams including Compassion’s MarTech stack to deliver a quality supporter experience.
- Direct the development of scalable systems/processes for domestic and global, diverse supply chain management needs with a goal of driving stewardship and excellence in the operations of the ministry.
- Ensures, through senior subordinate leaders, creative disciplines and needs are considered, aligns requests to the brand vision, maintain standards, and balances creation of the most professional, high-quality creative output while driving efficiency and speed to market.
- Selects, manages, and develops assigned staff, establishing goals and objectives, coaching and managing performance, including discipline, motivation, and annual reviews. Provides leadership and development to foster an environment of accountability and professional growth, in alignment with compassion’s strategies and objectives.
- Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
What do you bring?
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent year for year experience
- Operations and supply chain management in an international setting
- Experience in senior management at an organization 1 Billion or larger
- Experience working across multiple channels and integrating them.
- Proven delivery and sustainable continuous improvement
