Senior Director of Business Development - Analytical Instruments

As the Senior Director of Business Development, you will play a crucial role in driving business expansion, leading top-performing sales teams, and shaping the future of the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align business strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Implement efficient sales processes and utilize CRM systems and performance metrics to track and optimize sales performance.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to influence product development and enhancements.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, partnerships, and emerging markets to enhance the company's market position.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of skilled sales professionals, fostering a culture of success and collaboration.
- Leverage your extensive industry knowledge to establish and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market reach.
Requirements:
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and lead high-performing sales teams.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales performance tracking tools.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Proven track record of at least 8 years in the analytical instruments industry, with a strong focus on business development and sales leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in life science and an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing sales targets, driving business growth, and expanding market presence.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of analytical instruments and their applications across diverse industries.
- Proven ability to cultivate and nurture strong customer relationships and strategic partnerships.
