About The Opportunity
As an mRNA Research Associate Scientist in Analytical Sciences, you will ensure laboratory activities in support of process development and industrialization and ensure the characterizations of mRNA vaccines in development.

In this post, you will
  • Participate in the selection, development of new analytical methods of mRNA products in collaboration with the scientists of the team
  • Accompany and train newcomers in analytical technologies and methods
  • Participate laboratory organization activities (orders, management/maintenance of equipment, reception & verification of reagents and receipt of samples)
  • Perform analytical testing in the lab, data analysis, and related document writing with a critical look at the relevance of the results.
  • Compliant to Sanofi Quality standards and HSE policy. Participate in continuous improvement of laboratory safety and quality compliance.
  • Participate in laboratory automation to set up high-throughput analyses
  • Participate in qualification and transferring of analytical methods
  • Develop and write work plans/protocols
  • Summarize and communicate the progress of your work
Competencies / Requirements For Position
RESEARCH PROFILE
  • Essential qualities include ability to work in a fast paced, matrix environment; agility to respond to urgent requests, and initiative to lead new tasks.
  • Ability to work full time onsite in an analytical lab environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • BS with 0-2 years of professional experience in the vaccine or pharmaceutical industry in the field of R&D, QC analytics
  • Practical hands-on experience of bioassay and other analytical techniques including but not limited to ELISA, qPCR, western blot, cell culture, SDS-PAGE, chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team to complete assignments within defined time constraints.
  • BS in biochemistry, biology, analytical chemistry, or biotechnology or equivalence
