As the Head of Internal Communications & Employer Brand, you will be a member of the Talent & Growth leadership team and a critical partner to the Cohesity Executive team. You’ll impact our business by driving strategy and execution across three key areas: internal communications, employee engagement, and talent brand. If you’re energized by discovering what it takes for an organization to operate at its best and partnering with leaders and teams to design communications & engagement solutions to bring that to life, this might be the role for you! You will work closely with the executive team and Business Operations stakeholders on defining and delivering an event and communication strategy that advocates for the employee experience while driving business outcomes.
How You'll Spend Your Time Here
  • Impact the culture. Serve as a trusted advisor to the CSuite Executives and Vice Presidents, helping us understand what makes Cohesity special, what matters most to employees, and co-creating engagement and communications policies and solutions that influence change and advance Cohesity as a high-performing, great place to work.
  • Develop the Team. Develop and lead a small, world-class Internal Communications and Talent Brand team equipping them to meet the growing demands of the organization as it scales; demonstrate indirect leadership through matrixed environment.
  • Partner with the Business. Coach our Estaff team on their comms strategy and meetings such as all hands and town halls; support the executive leadership team by guiding various functional campaigns, offering guidance and consultation on communication needs and best practices.
  • Engage Cohesians. Collaborate across global HR, site partners, and cultural ambassadors in the business to scale engagement activities, team-building, community outreach, and impact, along with a suite of toolkits related to engagement and retention, new ways of working, work/life balance, etc.
  • Leverage your strengths. Bring the best of your unique skills and capabilities to this role and grow from there. Identify where you have the greatest opportunity for growth in this role and actively partner with your leader and team to grow with the organization while you help us develop.
  • Lead the Function. Develop and manage communications platforms, editorial calendars, digital platforms, associate town hall meetings, and the publication of metrics.
  • Set communication strategy. Responsible for creating and driving Cohesity’s global, multi-channel communication strategy.

  • Ability to easily flex between the strategic and tactical - lead multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced and complex environment.
  • Ability to clearly understand and empathize with diverse points of view, develop trusting relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels, and effectively use influencing skills to collaborate and gain alignment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing, leading, and completing highly effective communications, or public/partner relations strategies in a complex, global environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, business management, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience developing the internal communications/engagement strategy for a global company
  • Expert relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to drive business results through partnership and effective collaboration.
  • 15+ more years of comparable experience, preferably in a high-technology environment

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
US Pay Range
$176,000—$230,000 USD
