About the position:
G-P is looking for a Director, Internal Communications to join our growing communications team. Reporting to the VP - Communications, this leader will be responsible for leading and implementing internal communications strategies, initiatives and programs globally, while managing the internal communications team, and partnering closely with the broader communications team, company executives and internal stakeholders. The Director, Internal Communications will also serve as the internal communications business partner for the Product & Technology and Legal organizations. This leader will be hands-on director, an outstanding writer, familiar with the executive voice and should have experience working in a fast-growth B2B tech company.

What you can expect to do:
- Serve as an executive-level communicator to partner with the Chief Product & Strategy Officer and General Counsel for their internal companywide and departmental communications.
- Establish and measure internal communications performance metrics.
- Support crisis / issues and own related internal communications
- Partner with external communications to ensure consistency of voice when leaders are speaking or engaged in external communications activities.
- Understand business priorities, industry trends and competitive messaging to shape audience-relevant communications.
- Lead the global strategic and day-to-day internal communications plans and activities for companywide communications.
- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team with clear objectives, priorities, critical metrics and development plans.
- Influence internal communications prioritization, sequencing, and message alignment across the business.
- Write and develop communications materials (email, presentations, video, etc) in partnership with functional teams and in review with communications leadership.

What we are looking for:
- Proven people leadership capability and ability to work cross-functionally to influence, coach and align toward a common communication strategy.
- Excellent verbal and written communicator with proven ability to synthesize and accurately disseminate information.
- 10+ years proven success guiding strategy and execution of internal communications programs at a fast-paced, high-growth B2B tech company(ies)
- Able to effectively manage complex, sensitive, and confidential matters.
- A strong degree of discretion, understanding of C-level communications and priorities and experience writing in a C-level voice.
- Education: Master’s/Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to understand and articulate company performance messages and company strategies.

Compensation
The annual gross base salary range for this position is $156,000.00 to $195,000.00. Actual compensation for this position may vary and will depend on multiple factors including relevant qualifications, experience, education and geographic location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus dependent on various factors, including and without limitation, individual and company performance in addition to base salary.
