  • PSE&G.


Provides management oversight and directs the resources and activities of ~400 MAST and bargaining unit employees related to Utility-wide operations support functions and includes oversight adn management of industrial relations strategies across multiple unions.


Support functions include: -materials and logistics management, including storeroom operations at 30 locations -fleet/transportation management, including garage operations at 30 locations -ownership of cross-utility safety programs, including improvement initiatives, health & safety compliance and analytics for PSE&G. -technical training for all union new hires in the Utility. 2023 training demand is 1,800 student spots. -Transformation Management Office for IT projects, which includes developing and implementing change management, communication, traning plans for Utility IT projects -a consolidated QA / QC and contract management function for the Utility **Job Responsibilities** + Electric and Gas Materials Management and Logistics - manage inventory valued at approximately ~$150M across 27 warehouses statewide + Utility Transportation/Fleet Management - manage acquisition, maintenance and repair of fleet of 6,300 vehicles, valued at approximately $500M (replacement value), across 23 locations statewide + Utility Technical Training - direct the assessment, design, development and implementation of 15 Utility-wide apprentice training programs


  • Customer Operations, Gas Delivery, Gas Appliance Service, Electric Transmission and Distribution and Asset Management businesses.


2023 demand for student spots is 1,800 + Utility Health, Safety and Wellness - direct development and manage safety and health programs statewide.


Ownership of compliance and analytics functions.


Includes contractor safety programs + Safety Compliance


  • Overall responsibility for ensuring the development, implementation and monitoring of Safety Compliance and Industrial Hygiene processes and procedures that adhere to all the required federal, state and local regulations.


Responsibility for safety analytics and implementing Utility wide safety initiatives + Transformation Management Office for large IT projects which includes responsibility for developing and implementing change management, communication and training plans for large IT projects.


Projected impact of current portfolio is about 5,000 users + Workforce Planning: Oversee, plan, and prioritize the goals and responsibilities of the Centralized Work Planning and Scheduling team (CWPS)


to ensure reporting, capacity planning, strategic work scheduling, and resource leveling are met for all of Utility operations + QA/QC - manage consolidated QA / QC function and contract administration for the Utility **Job Specific Qualifications** Required + Bachelors degree in business, engineering or equivalent with 10 or more years business experience, 5 years desired Utility experience + Broad understanding of Energy/Utility organizations and their relationship as a whole + Strong business acumen with the ability to identify strategic needs, lead all aspects of planning with sound business recommendations, and generate alignment with key business partners. + Demonstrated project management skills and exceptional organizational savvy working and partnering cross-functional business leaders in all disciplines and delivering against business goals, problem solving and relationship building skills. + Collaborative and influential leadership style with the ability to influence others into action and to think creatively about solutions. + Excellent presentation, analytical, and communication skills, both written and oral, are required to synthesize key issues, and communicate/persuade key stakeholders towards specific actions and initiatives. + Valid US Driver's License Desired + Lean Sig Sigma experience preferred + PMP preferred **Minimum Years of Experience** 10 years of experience **Education** Bachelors **Certifications** None Noted **Disclaimer** Certain positions at the Company may require you to have access to Part 810-Controlled Information.
