DavidWayneAssociates is a specialized accounting/finance search firm that has been engaged by a small to mid-sized HVAC & Business Maintenance company to identify a Controller. Our client is a growing service provider that is opening additional operating divisions! This is an exciting opportunity to report directly to ownership.

The Controller is responsible for all day-to-day accounting for the organization.

Controller Duties and Responsibilities:

· Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly internal financial statements

· Monthly closing of the books

· General ledger analyses and account reconciliations

· Assist with budget preparation and analyses

· Manage billing department

· Analyze and report on key customer and business statistics including monthly sales data

· Monthly bank reconciliations

· Special projects as needed by senior management

Controller Requirements:

· BS degree in Accounting or relevant skills

· 8+ years’ Accounting experience

· Prior QuickBooks experience and tech savvy preferred
