- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with innovative pharmaceutical companies based in North America.
- Foster and maintain long-term business relationships with key and target accounts.
- Devise and execute New Business Development (NBD) strategies based on thorough market research and industry insights.
- Collaborate with various departments to develop contracts with customers and ensure their monitoring and adherence.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, overseeing timelines and coordination between various departments such as project management, development, production, QC, QA, regulatory, logistics, and engineering.
- Establish sales targets in terms of volume and value per customer and product, utilizing rolling forecasts, budgets, and medium-term planning.
- Take charge of customer account management for existing projects and products, as well as explore new business prospects.
- Travel requirement of 30 to 50%.
- Identify new opportunities and develop corresponding action plans.
- Maintain regular and effective written and verbal communication with customers, keeping them fully informed.
- Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate and assess new projects, facilitating the preparation and submission of written proposals.
- Reach out to current and potential customers to present our comprehensive technical capabilities worldwide, focusing on drug substance, as well as showcasing our drug product capabilities.
- Support client visits to our different facilities.
- Ensure adherence to budgeted sales costs within your area.
