As a Director, Business Development, you will work directly with Kigo business leaders to develop go-to-market strategies and drive early-stage business development efforts across various sectors, including loyalty, financial services, membership, workplace engagement, and retail. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder that brings a passion for digital assets, is creative, highly adaptable, self-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the business leads to develop and accelerate early-stage go-to-market efforts, secure key client and channel partner relationships, and drive revenue and user growth for the business
  • Fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment
  • Collaborating with internal teams across marketing, technology, finance, legal and others to deliver creative solutions for new prospects and current clients
  • Developing new business opportunities and owning the sales pipeline from end-to-end
  • Becoming the “expert in the room” on every facet of the business, including industry trends, key players, and technology
  • Embracing CORE values - Collaborative, Objective, Responsive, and Earnest


What you need to be successful in this role:

  • High judgment and sense of ownership
  • Demonstrable and impressive track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies, developing and generating new business opportunities, and growing revenue/ARR through B2B and enterprise sales
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries: loyalty, financial services, membership, workplace engagement, blockchain/crypto/web3
  • Ability to adapt quickly, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and inspire a growth culture
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in a start-up environment.
  • Results-driven leader with a player-coach mentality, ability to take initiative, self-prioritize… and a good sense of humor is always appreciated!
