Senior Data Product Manager – Pharma / Biotech

San Diego, CA – will consider remote for the right person

$160-180k


Join this rapidly expanding, venture-backed pharma company that is revolutionizing drug development with machine learning. As a Senior Product Manager, you'll shape a cutting-edge drug development platform and exceptional research support tools.


ROLE OVERVIEW – SENIOR DATA PRODUCT MANAGER

  • Track development timelines and communicate to end users
  • Work with the software team to manage the product backlog
  • Define and develop new and innovative product features
  • Lead planning and execution of software release and training to internal users
  • Define the product vision and develop roadmaps which align to team goals and strategy
  • Create internal user documentation
  • Partner with the CTO to identify software and technology priorities
  • Understand internal users needs and translate them into user stories


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional team
  • Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles
  • Degree in biology, engineering, computer science, engineering, or a similar field
  • Experience working closely with software teams
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Product Manager where you’ve worked on a software product, ideally within the pharma, life science or biotech industry
  • Familiarity with agile methodology
