The Product Data Analyst will be responsible for the integrity of product data and development of related business processes at Vuori. This position will aid efforts to align business targets with ERP and PLM requirements, implement best practices with regard to data management, and report on progress toward goals. This position will work closely with cross-functional team members in Merchandising, Product Development, Planning, BI, and Production to ensure data accuracy as it relates to key calendar milestones. The Product Data Analyst will proactively identify any gaps or missing attributes needed for each product category and ensure all required information is obtained. The Product Data Analyst must have an eye for continuous improvement opportunities and possess communication skills to develop and execute solutions with large teams from varying parts of the business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as ERP and PLM Key User to educate users and problem solve exception cases
- Actively seek and adopt best practices in data reporting. Anticipate and take action to meet business needs while looking for ways to increase efficiency and data accuracy through process management
- Monitor and correct data processing exceptions and identify clean-up opportunities
- Analyze and articulate business requirements and translate them into functional requirements
- Ensure data integrity in key systems
- Own, maintain, consult, and execute on product data related topics including new item setup and auditing development documentation
- Develop standards and guidelines to consistently address recurring, strategic product data issues
- Translate system changes into resulting business impacts
- Properly record and maintain process documentation
- Work with BI team to support ad-hoc internal customer requests and business systems projects that employ product data feeds
- Enforce data standards and guidelines through recognition and communication of anticipated outcomes
- Prepare and conduct mass and/or manual data updates to product database, including ERP and/or PLM once implemented
- Maintain a detailed understanding of the product development cycle including key milestones, sources of truth for product data, and the players involved
- Engage cross-functional teams to gather required information from multiple areas (Product Development, Production, Finance, Supply chain, Operations, Sales, and/or outside parties), reconcile data conflicts and collate information for upload or migration to downstream systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Merchandising, Fashion Design, Manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of product development experience is required and/or apparel experience with a record of managing product from concept to completion
- Aptitude for systems and systematic work including BI analytics
- Must possess strong knowledge of global apparel production and business development; materials sourcing a plus
- Experience gathering requirements, functional solutioning, and documenting business processes
- Accurate data entry skills, attention to detail and follow-up abilities
- Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Adobe Suite; Centric, and Microsoft Dynamics a plus
- Previous experience with ERP and PLM software
Pay:from $70,000 - $80,000
