Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Brand Manager will play a key role in building the Cointreau brand in the US; developing and implementing brand marketing plans and programs, driving both brand equity and commercial performance. This role is responsible for the planning and execution of through-the-line marketing programs, including creative development across media, PR, influencers, events and in-store. This role will also be responsible for annual media and PR planning and be involved in business analytics/reviews. The position will work directly with Trade Marketing, Sales, Finance, and external agencies to ensure programs are in line with overall brand strategy.
Core Responsibilities:
Responsible for the strategy, design, implementation, and measurement of through-the-line programs in support of the US Strategic Plan:
- Develop in-outlet programming for the on and off premise from brief to execution:
- Partner with the Brand Director and brand team counterparts to evolve and optimize brand strategy, balancing strategic equity objectives with commercial needs.
- Lead strategy and execution of PR and Influencer programming, including key programs.
- Lead the delivery of the full year media plan, including rollout of creative assets across key programs and programs, with opportunity to coach team counterparts in the media space also.
- Responsible for briefing and management of marketing agencies as well as POS design/production agencies.
- Develop quarterly program decks to be shared across brand marketing, trade marketing, and sales team.
- Manage brand partnerships and partner closely with National Accounts and trade marketing to ensure full adoption and execution of co-branded programming.
- Establish tracking and reporting processes to monitor and correlate activities to display execution, sales, and ROI.
- Actively lead conversations and monthly rhythms with Supply Chain and Operations.
- Partnership and involvement managing annual A&P budget with team counterparts.
- Ongoing monitoring of business/category performance and competitive analysis.
- Work closely with brand finance controller as well as business intelligence team to convert data into insights and action.
Work cross-functionally and establish key relationships both internally and externally:
- External: Creative Agency, Media Agency, PR and Digital Agency, Shopper Marketing, Design, POS
- · Internal: US Brand Marketing, Global Brand Team, US Trade Marketing, National Accounts, Sales and Field Activation Team, Legal, Finance, Accounting, Business Intelligence, Supply and Operations.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong business analytics skills and data-driven mindset.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, agencies, and vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- 7+ years' experience in brand marketing. Spirits background preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong experience in through-the-line planning, including media, PR, social and in-store amplification.
- Exceptional organizational skills and sharp attention to detail.
Education / Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication and Media, or equivalent.
